About
Ronnie’s inner-peace and emotional support come from his loving relationships with his life partner, Maryanna, and the two girls dearest to him in his life, daughters Katie and Sammi. The love he shares with them keeps him well grounded and happy as he pursues his true passion, crafting the art that serves to inspire those who view his creations. Ronnie’s inner calm and passion for the aquatic world are summed up in his motto for life and living; Surf in peace…
Ronnie doesn’t just observe this aquatic world of beauty, he lives it.
His passion for surfing, water recreation, enjoying oceanfront parks and wildlife refugees has inspired him to create truly wondrous, and one of a kind, works of art.
Ronnie’s artistic vision has captured the attention of many, including the admiration of The New York Times art critic, Benjamin Genocchio, in the Sunday edition of August 5, 2007 where he states “Mr. Jackson is a natural sculptor.” In addition, Mr. Genocchio states “his technique and colors read like sculptural versions of paintings on velvet”.
Ronnie’s vision and maverick approach to expressing his passion through his art is pure and uncorrupted by the methodical and expected methods taught via established art training curriculums.
